I got stuck at "I have unfortunately been reading this collection for quite a bit, so I almost have it memorized." After saying I knew the sonnet. There were no prompts to click on. Talk about a cliffhanger. '^' Definitely gonna try other paths though, really liking the story so far.
I don't get it. *Not a spoiler due to the description (?)* As a doctor who was kidnapped and scared, I see only one logical path - do not resist, keep quiet, stay in your cabinet and do your job. I don't have the knowledge or strategies for capture, so I don't understand why they continue to pester the doctor as a crew member and why does he have the ability to change the captain's strategy. 😕 It's easy and convenient to decide for your character what to do in a dangerous situation when you yourself are safe.
I was able to talk logically with the captain, getting a little closer only while I was treating him, to distract him from the pain. Well, maybe also in moments when the doctor is outside the boat. 🙍 9/32
